SHIPPING POLICY

By placing an order with Cristie Kerr Wines you are certifying you are 21 years of age or older. An adult over the age of 21 must be present to sign for the delivery and must be prepared to confirm their age with appropriate identification. This rule is enforced by FedEx, UPS, GLS, and all other carriers. We are not able to bypass this requirement on your behalf.

Wine orders are fulfilled by Copper Peak Logistics in American Canyon, California or Cartons and Crates. Wines are shipped as soon as possible (*Summer heat holds may apply). We offer either expedited or Ground shipping via UPS, FedEx or Golden State Overnight. Delivery times can vary from as little as two days to west coast locations to as long as a week or more to east coast locations, barring transportation issues on the part of the common carriers due to natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances.

We typically release shipments early in the week, that way your wine doesn’t risk sitting in a warm warehouse over the weekend. If you place an order with us, please expect your wine to ship out the following Monday or Tuesday from our temperature-controlled warehouse regardless of the shipping type you select. Please anticipate 3-4 days for processing and packing your order in addition to the time in transit. If you need your wine sooner, please call us! We can rush for an additional fee.

A tracking number will be uploaded in each customer’s online account and a shipping notification will be sent by email to the customer at the time of shipment so they can make arrangements to receive the shipment and provide an adult signature.

If possible, we HIGHLY recommend shipping to a business address. Most carriers deliver to business addresses earlier in the day where someone at the front desk is available to sign for your wine. If a business address is not an option, you can also ship to a UPS Store, FedEx center, or oftentimes Walgreens. Feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions and we will gladly help you select a shipping address.

Delivery will be attempted three times, after which time the order will be returned to Copper Peak Logistics and the customer will be contacted to discuss re-shipment of the order. Cristie Kerr Wines is not responsible for additional shipping costs incurred when a customer is unavailable for any of the three attempts the shipping company makes to deliver the order.

We can ship to most states subject to local laws and jurisdictions. If you are in a state that prohibits direct shipment of wine to consumers, it is your responsibility to make alternative shipping arrangements. Choose expedited shipping at checkout
We remove ground shipping as an option for most destinations during the summer. Expedited shipping reduces the time between when the wine leaves our cellar and enters yours. Expedited shipping time frames do not include our standard processing time. Please anticipate 3-4 days in addition to the time in transit.

RETURN POLICY

Cristie Kerr Wines is committed to the production of high-quality, handcrafted wines and your satisfaction is our goal. Please inspect all packages as soon as they are received. Should any bottle(s) be broken or damaged during shipment, please email us at info@kerrcellars.com or call (707) 963-5377 within 48 hours of receipt of your package(s), so we can pursue a claim with the shipping company.

We will arrange to have the wine picked up in most cases. Please keep the original packaging and its contents exactly as you found them if possible. Understand that if the broken product cannot be retrieved, we cannot receive compensation for the loss. Returns cannot be processed after 10 days.
